Criteria for assessment

You should proceed with a domestic qualification assessment if:

and

  • Have not completed the domestic qualification due to being unable to satisfy the prescribed conditions such as:
    • unit codes/names
    • commencement date
    • completion of individual units outside of degree/qualification.

To apply

You must submit your request via our application form.

Documents

You must submit copies of these documents with your application:

  • signed statutory declaration [PDF 153 KB | DOCX 37.2 KB] confirming all the documents are true copies
  • academic transcript(s)
  • qualification award(s)
  • any other supporting evidence to substantiate you have satisfied the prescribed conditions on the Determination for your domestic qualification.

Failure to provide all the required documents may significantly delay the assessment of your qualifications.

  • The information I have provided is true, correct, and complete, and is not false or misleading.
  • I understand that providing false or misleading information may constitute a criminal offence under Australian law and may result in relevant authorities being notified.
  • The information I have provided will be used to assess my application for approval of my domestic qualification.
  • I understand if I do not provide the requested information, Treasury may not be able to assess my application.
  • I understand the information I have provided will be handled in accordance with Treasury's privacy statement.
  • I understand Treasury may contact relevant parties and institutions, including where these parties and institutions are overseas, regarding the contents of my application. This may involve sharing my personal information with these parties for the purpose of identifying and verifying the information provided.
  • I understand that if my information is shared to a party or institution which is overseas, the Treasury will be unable to control the way in which the recipient holds, uses, and discloses your personal information.
  • I understand Treasury may contact the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to verify relevant information and enable assessment of my application.
